Paul Spooner is an international photographer originally from the United Kingdom, now based in Salzburg, Austria.

Having spent his whole adult life living in different cultures of the world and having an inbuilt wanderlust for travelling. Paul's life took him to living in Japan, Italy, the United States, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Germany and now, Austria. His working life started as a Precision Engineer but quickly he found his love of speed pushed him in the direction of becoming a professional race driver. Motorsport is still a big part of his life and a major passion. In 2004, Paul opened his own racing school, the BMW Performance Center Bahrain. Paul is also a race driver coach and mentor for many drivers in different categories and championships around the world.

"Photography has always been in my life since a young age, when my father bought me my first camera, a Nikon F3 to take photographs of the race cars at all the race meetings we used to go to. Since then it has become a way of life to see the world with a photographer's eye".

Paul's love of travel, the natural world and sports is evident in his work. As big a passion as Motorsport is the Art of Photography. Being in wild places, at sports events or just trying to capture the moment as it was felt and seen is something Paul strives to do everyday.
